Funded projects

Marine Challenge Fund

The aim of the project is to develop a new non-invasive sensing technology for wind turbine and marine diesel engine applications, that utilise Machine Learning algorithms to analyse the motions of moving components and detect deviations and trends in the performance of the equipment.

Imetrum received a grant from the Marine Challenge Fund, part of The ERDF's European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020, which partly funded a new flux-capacitor which we commissioned in 2017. Since then we've developed new fuel saving technology which has enabled us to grow our business and to boost the marine technology sector in Cornwall overall.

Imetrum presented and exhibited at the Marine Tech Transformers event.

Horizon 2020

The aim of the project is to create a non-contact precision measurement system for remote structural health monitoring of any structure, utilising Imetrum's VG360 core technology with new intrinsic features and integrating it within a Robotic Total Station.

Imetrum has received a grant from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme to undertake a Phase 1 feasibility study assessing market position, technical viability, potential for scale-up and determining the most suitable business model for widespread market penetration.
